It all started on a family vacation in July of 2005. Mark Davis, the president and founder of Sportables® LLC and his family had spent a wonderful few days in pristine northern Wisconsin. On the way home they stopped at the Field of Dreams baseball field and movie set in Iowa. A big idea began to form. The vacation was over, but the journey was just beginning…

Mark’s ideas began to turn into an overwhelming vision. He envisioned nutritious snacks and drinks for kids active in sports that would be packaged and marketed in unique ways. He dreamed about using these products to promote and support sportsmanship and character. Research began and the ideas started turning into concepts. Soon after, the vision and concepts were validated by important consumer movements such as convenience, nutrition, the fight against childhood obesity, and the burgeoning youth sports market. It became apparent that there was a real need for these products and for the social mission they would ultimately support.

The vision finally crystallized and in July 2006 Sportables LLC, based in Kearney, MO was formed. SportWave® Vitamin Infused Water, Sportables® Team Packs, and Enjoy the Game® snacks are uniquely positioned to provide active kids and sports moms with good tasting, nutritional snacks and drinks with a real cool factor. All Sportables® products feature real kids having fun on the packaging and promote the positive virtues of the Enjoy The Game® sportsmanship program.

Endorsed by Major League Baseball 5-time All-Star Mike Sweeney and numerous other organizations, Sportables® and Enjoy the Game® are dedicated to providing cool nutrition for active kids and improving the culture of youth sports in America. Enjoy the Game® is a Kansas City based non-profit organization whose vision is to change the culture of youth sports in America by educating coaches, players, parents, officials, administrators, and the media on bringing fun and encouragement back into the game.
